About the course

It is a fresh approach from Biblical Hebrew and Greek giving hope and practical tools to change hurtful patterns and restore wounded relationships. You will come to understand amongst other things; why we struggle with intimacy, the underlying cause for fear, intimidation, control and even battering. You will learn what the Bible says about relationships with God and each other, the hope and solution God offers and how to help heal the wounds of the heart

Is this a Bible Study?

Yes. It is a biblical approach to building healthy relationships. The course material is the result of practical experience, research and revelation and is based on Isaiah 61.

Course leaders

Chris Webster is the programme leader for this course.Chris Webster He has been involved with teaching ‘Building Healthy Relationships’ during the past 8 years and its companion programme ‘A Life Worth Loving’. Chris is Chairman of the Skills for Living UK charitable trust, which oversees both of these programmes. He is part of the Leadership Team of Cambridge Community Church and is the Director of Pastoral Care. He is also a Pastoral Care Member of the Association of Christian Counsellors.
The teaching programme is shared with Janet Strydom who has been involved with the course for the past 6 years. She holds a Manna House Level-One Christian Counselling Certificate as well as Prayer Ministry and Counselling Skills from The Word for Life Trust.
